Singapore internships
The one work pass you can file yourself
Live internships and graduate roles at Singapore employers. Most students rule themselves out on their passport — but the Work Holiday Pass turns on where you study, and a US university counts.

The cycle is earlier than you think
Singapore applications for next summer open in the autumn and many close by December. Tell us your field and we will write when it opens.
Everything here comes from the Ministry of Manpower's own pages. The ones it was read from are below.
- MOM — Work Holiday Programme: eligibility
- MOM — Work Holiday Programme: apply for a pass
- MOM — Training Employment Pass: eligibility
- MOM — Training Employment Pass: apply for a pass
- MOM — Training Employment Pass: list of acceptable institutions (sample)
- MOM — Work pass exemption for foreign students
Read from mom.gov.sg on 2026-08-30.
The Work Holiday Programme is capped at 2,000 pass holders at any one time. MOM does not publish how much of that is currently taken, so nobody can tell you whether it is full — including us.
MOM's list of acceptable institutions is published as a sample, not a complete list. We will not tell you your university is or is not on it. Read it yourself, and remember the other way through: a placement paying S$3,000 a month qualifies either way.
This is information about the criteria published by Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (MOM), not legal advice. It cannot tell you whether an application will succeed, and it is not a substitute for an adviser who knows your history.
